The physical rigors of musical practice and performance can lead to physical injuries and emotional anxiety. This presentation focuses on embouchure dystonia from a physical therapy perspective. Information presented is supported by research, within the scope of physical therapy practice, and aligned with the goals of performing musicians. The presentation will also include examples of techniques designed to promote the wellness of musicians. |
